Rules

1) Men’s Team Championship

a} The first round will be played in groups, each team will, play all other teams in their group (round robin})The winner of the group will be the team with the greatest number of points, with 1 point being awarded for each game won. In the event of two teams having the same amount of points the result of the group game between the 2 teams will count.

If more than 2 teams have the same number of points, a play off will decidethe winners, each team will nominate one player to play one leg of 1001 up.

b) The group winners will go forward and a new draw will be made down to the final.

c) A math will consist of 7 games up and played in the following order:

2 games of doubles (701 up 1 leg)

4 games of singles(501 up 1leg)

1 team game (1001 up 1leg)

d) The match shall finish when one team has won 4 games. The captain of the winning team will report the score to the control table.

e) The order of play in the firstgame will be decided by the toss of a coin. The winner shall throw first in the game then alternatively.

2) Ladies Team Championship

a) The first round will be played in groups, each team will play all other teams in their group (round robin) The winner of the group will be the team with greater number of points, with 1 point being awarded for each game won. In the event of two teams having the same amount of points the result from the game between the 2 teams will count.

c) A math will consist of 3 games up and played in the following order:

1 game of doubles (701 up)

2 games of singles (501 up)

d) The match shall finish when when one team has won 2 games. The winning team captain will report the score to the control table.

e) The order of play in the first game will be decided by a toss of a coin. The winner shall throw first in the game then alternatively.

3) Men’s andLadies Individual Championship

a)All players are eligible to take part in the individual championships.

b) All games up to the semi finals will be 501 up, best of 3 legs. One toss of a coin, the winner will will go first in the first and third leg.

c) The semi final and final shall be the best of 3 legs with one toss of a coin, the winner will go first in the first and third legs if required.

4) General Rules of all Championship events

a) The Oche line shall be 7ft 9 1/4″ from the face of the board, players must toe the the line. The height of the board will be 5’8″ from the centre of the bull in a direct line to the floor.

b) All games will be a straight start and a double finish.

c) The 50 or bull will count as double 25 when 50 is required as a double.

d) Players must not remove their darts untill the chalker/caller has cleared them to do so.

e) All team members not actually playing on the board may be required to help out as markers and callers.

f) In the individual event the loser of the match must stay at the board they have just played on and chalk the next game called on that board.

g) The bust rule will apply in all competitions.

h) All players are expected to abide by the code of conduct.

i) All mobile phone to be turned to silent mode.

j) No smoking in the playing room.
